JustinWW and the Even Tiles

Justin WW was started by Justin White (formerly of The Atriums and Die Pilot) as a sort of solo project after the collapse of various band attempts. Justin has spent the better part of three years crafting songs that could be played as an ethereal solo set featuring looping pedals or in a full band setting. He has self released two very well received EP's and is currently recording a full length album entitled Noon, Grey Daylight in his home studio, due out Summer of 2012.

Drawing influences from the likes of everything from Andrew Bird to Deerhunter, he is sometimes loud in the microphone (but without screaming) and quiet with soft melodies and an accompanying guitar style that switches from finger picking to heavy strumming in a matter of seconds. Justin WW’s music can be described as a harmonious cacophony – a discordant, but beautiful, mixture of sounds. He creates a layered harmony incorporating rhythmic guitar, reverb, unique vocals, and supplemented percussion and keys.

In February of 2012 Justin was joined by some very talented friends that have set out on a mission to play the songs live as they were recorded (with a full band!).

Justin WW has shared the stage with many acts both in the mainstream and in the independent music world alike. While he is no stranger to touring, he quickly became a "regular" at places like The Historic Southgate House (RIP), sharing stages with such acts as Keegan DeWitt, Jeremy Messersmith, Lee McDougall, Chris Staples, Pree, Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas, and My Empty Phantom just to name a few.
